About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Journal of Learning Theory and Methodology publishes didactic research papers in knowledge, abilities and skills development of children, adolescents, and students, which focus on motor and verbal learning.
The purpose of the journal is to provide scientific information and introduce the results of applied and fundamental research on didactics of motor and verbal learning, secondary and higher education, and learning psychology.
The journal publishes research papers on the following topics:
- didactics of motor and verbal learning;
- didactics of secondary education;
- didactics of higher education;
- psychological peculiarities of knowledge, abilities and skills development.
The Editorial Board primarily considers submissions focusing on the learning process; containing a simulated experimental situation, clearly defined independent variables (factors controlled in the experiment are indicators that characterize the process of knowledge, abilities and skills development), as well as dependent variables that characterize the effectiveness of the experimental learning program; medicobiological, psychophysiological, and psychological indicators used in the study provide additional information to explain the effectiveness of the experimental learningprogram.

Open Access Policy
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
The electronic version of the journal is enlisted in V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
